Beatenberg is located just under 10 kilometers from the city center of Interlaken. The Budget Hotel used to be called the Kurhaus Schönegg and many signs still show that name!

Basically, get yourself to Interlaken West and then take the local Post Bus (Line 1) to the stop next to the Budget Hotel called "Post".
On weekdays the bus leaves every hour at the same time starting at 07:08 until 18:08. After that the schedule is as follows:
Depart Interlaken West daily at 19:02, 20:02, 21:02, 23:02
If you arrive in Interlaken West between 21:02 and 22:00, let Mismanagement know and someone will drive down and pick you up.
If you arrive early enough there is a very picturesque way to go: from Thun train station to Beatenbucht by boat or by bus then take the funicular to Beatenberg. and walk 5 minutes to the hotel.
Drive to Interlaken and then follow the signs for "Beatenberg/Habkern" (~12-15 minutes). The Budget-Hotel is situated on the main street 1 km from the beginning of the village. Follow the brown-beige hotel sign.
There is a free parking area within a 200m walk of the hotel. Loading/ unloading of luggage is possible in front of the hotel.
If you arrive earlier and want to drive along the north shore of the Lake of Thun, it takes 10-20 minutes longer depending on the traffic whereas the route along the south side is half Autobahn and much quicker despite being 6 kms longer.
If you have the time to sight-see a bit on the way to or from the Interlaken area, there are tons of things to do or different drives to take. Google for more information or ask Mismanagement for some advice.
